Funny thing about learning who deserves a place in your life & who doesn't is learning who deserves a place & who doesn't...

Just because you thought they deserved that place doesn't mean God granted them that space...

Let the exits be a lesson not a burden...

Give thanks in the face of heartache and allow God's will to comfort you during the confusion....

I speak from pure experience in this matter & truth be told I couldn't be more grateful for the humor in this lesson...

Not Just A Brand...

I had the pleasure of reading or should I say experiencing the courageous story of Max Factor 'The Man Who Changed the Faces of the World' by Fred E. Basten and I will say it turned out to be quite an smooth read!

From old world stage plays, the Grand Opera to the Imperial Family Max's skill was a coveted service, which opened doors for the brand we all know and love...

Not many of us get the opportunity to experience the foreground for the brands we love or at the bare minimum have any true sense of who is behind the product. This story grants that, a prime opportunity to learn how the brand was started and really understand the production and hunger behind a world renowned line of cosmetics.

This memoir highlights the innovation, the risks and the journey of a man that in so many ways embodies the same hunger many of us have. It humanizes the brand and grants people like you and I a chance to see dreams unfold!

Having graced the faces of many Hollywood greats Max Factor's place in the cosmetic industry was well deserved and more importantly one that changed and enlightened the masses about a host of great techniques and tools that we can't live without today!

I give the book a 10, for level of steady interest, inclusion of highs and lows and an all around great story!
